The .45 my dad taught me to shoot when I was 12 is a Ruger Blackhawk .45 colt with the 4-5/8 barrel. It is on my list of guns I am hoping to get from him.

He and my mom both still shoot that one so I know I won't be getting it very soon, but it has been requested. He and I were just talking yesterday about getting out to the range for a day together when the weather gets a bit nicer.

My favorite color combination is blued, color case hardened, brass and wood. I have a 22 wmr & 45.LC with that combination.

There's an unusual Uberti in blue that has been calling my name. No where near an authentic color combo. I don't know why I like it so much.

I love single action revolvers. I have several Rugers, ranging from .22 LR/WMR to .480 Ruger. I really like the Magnum Research BFR, I currently have two. And last but not least I have a few NAA Mini revolvers, the break top Ranger 2 is really cool. Good to see other people enjoy single actions.

Absolutely. A .22 SA may be had cheaply, and is a wonderful way to teach children and new shooters some basics and not break the bank, with firearm or ammo purchase.

SAA's are cool. I have US Arms Abilenes in 357 6 inch and 44 in 7.5 inch. Both shoot excellent with low power and max power lead semi wadcutters.

Love single actions, especially the old Colts. Almost 50 years ago my dad posed for a picture holding me (all of 18 months old) while also holding an old Colt .45 LC Single Action Army. That is quite possibly the first firearm I ever touched. My dad and I fired that very same gun along with another SAA in 32-20 and an old Bisley in .38-40 just this past weekend. These guns are not only great guns in their own right, they have become family heirlooms that I hope to shoot along with my kids and grandkids some day.

Literally walked in and ordered my first 45LC single action today. First gun I ever bought was a Pietta 1858.

I would like to get a Colt SAA in 357 Mag eventually but their asking price is too steep for me to consider for what would be a range toy unfortunately.

It is impossible for me to post pictures from my phone!

Anywho, here's a rather recent addition. It's a lame photo because it was taken for the classifieds! But, i took her back to the range and quickly decided she can stick around a while longer.
FA M97 in 357, six shooter. It shoots fairly well.
