I think he's got a good shot. He's a socialist like all the others. And he's another gimmick. We've had a black president, so check that one off. What's the next thing? He'll be our next president I think.

Well, at this point it's pretty clear that he is:

#1 Trying to get his name out there to be considered for future positions (he did try to become the chairman of the DNC), and possibly
#2 Running for Vice President in 2020.
I can see him jockeying for a VP position. Seems like he would be an enticing pick for a running mate.

Well, two of your three examples have managed to score slightly better scripturally than people who believe in "nothing in particular" and "non-practicing Catholics", so I guess you've got that going for you

I have nothing "going for me" in this regard.

INGO: missing the point since 2008.

Thanks for keeping the streak alive.

I promise to give you the benefit of the doubt on having a point if you promise to make one. Spell it out, K14 is our only mind reader

It's quite simple, really, and your graph actually expanded upon it.

You stated "likely a unitarian universalist or some other pretend congregation".

My only point was that such acceptance (up to the point of appointing homosexuals as pastors/priests/bishops, as in the case of ELCA and Episcopal) was not limited to such fringe "pretend" congregations as Unitarian Universalist but, as the graph you posted underlines, there are many such denominations and congregations that profess Christianity insofar as proclaiming Jesus Christ to be the divine son of G_d, an inseparable part of the holy Trinity, and worshiping Him along with God the Father [(EDIT to finish thought) that have some level of acceptance of such lifestyles.]

You may lump such imperfect believers into the same group, which is your prerogative, but misguided seems a better fit for many in my mind.

Of course, it's entirely possible that I completely missed your earlier point and I am the one keeping the streak alive.

Either way, I want a participation trophy. Probably takes 5,000 posts.

One thing of which I am sure, none of us has it exactly right.

The evidence has presented itself as such; no one knows anything about him except he is a gay man married to a gay man. What else is known?

I wonder? First Lady? Call him "Mr. President"? Madam President? Will HE spend most of his time in the oral office? Oval Orifice? So many questions......free bath house memberships for everyone! Clinton smoked cigars.....?

I know there are varying levels of acceptance of homosexuality among various denominations. I was targeting the comment about denominations that accept that two men (in this case, but the same for two women) can be or can get married.

I would also be concerned about any congregation that would not consider homosexuals, no matter how committed, to be engaging in sin. One's desire to not hurt their feelings should not assist in their damnation

Really. JettaKnight has 'lapped' us all many times (no pun intended J/K).

I'm looking at, maybe the year 2525.........
