    Let's see: MCF&G that Fri evening, NRA Friends "Gunaplooza" that Saturday in Shelbytucky, ECPR that Sunday. Yep, I think I'll be there, mama can't get any madder (and Yes!, I've tried getting her to shoot, even offered her her own pistol but to no avail) 8-{

    This rule leaves me out, other wise I would love to have made the trip.:popcorn:

    That rule doesn't bother me a bit. My theory is that not everyone is responsible enough to carry a loaded firearm, with this rule the Darwin participants won't be able to ND as they walk into the range. Or shoot someone behind them or sweeping while inholstering, I'm OK with it.
    May also be part of a City Parks deal.

    That rule is a condition of my contract with the City of Indianapolis, but I would have it in place regardless. It is a public range, and we get a lot of brand new shooters with little or no training (and we love having them). We have certified Range Safety Officers to supervise the firing line, but we can't oversee the entire facility, so we ask customers to keep their firearms unloaded until they reach the firing line.

    That rule is for your safety as well as theirs. I respect your decision to shoot elswhere if you find it unreasonable.
