I think I remember hearing some of the DNR Conservation Officers carry Sig P220 in .45 ACP
The Argentina Armed Forces, Buenos Aries PD and Argentina Federal Police use Bersa 9mm's.
Hancock County sheriff and greenfield Pd are glock 21.
Judging by the expensive cars (2009 CVPI with mustang-like engines and 2009 chevy tahoes), AR-15's, expensive laptops in cars, expensive dash cams and such, maybe they carry Sigs!
From what I've seen Boone Co. Sheriffs carry 1911's. Not sure which brand. Anybody know for sure?
That is what happens when your countries economy has been flushed down the toilet and funds are limited.
Actually, from what I have read, the Bersa is fairly expensive in it's own country. Why, I have no idea, but that is what i have read.
Besides, some may argue that it is patriotic to support your own country's gun manufacturers instead of gong foreign...perhaps that is the main reason they do so?
After my post I read FerFal's blog Surviving in Argentina. I guess he has finally had enough and is planning on moving back to the states. He actually spoke highly of Bersa as well. Then again he spoke just as highly as Glock.
Last I was told Adams County Sheriffs Dept carries SigPro 2340 in .357 Sig. I'm not sure about Decatur PD. I have a friend that is an Adams County reserve, I'll have to ask him.
You may be right, but I swear it was .357 that I was told. I'll have to check next time I see my friend.Decatur PD carries Sig P220 in .45ACP.
Also, I thought the Adams county Sheriffs Dept. carried the 2340 in .40S&W?
