Not old or rare, but I still have the Marlin 15y I got for Christmas when I was 6 years old, 35 years ago. It was also my son's and eventually my daughter's first gun.

Not rare, but I have my Dad's Winchester Model 190. I don't know when he got it, or anything else, but I have it, and it is tons of fun to shoot.

I have a Gewehrfabrik Danzig Model 2 single shot, manufactured in 1919.

    It is serial number 1.

The stock is stamped "Germany" in the same German Gothic font as the "Gewehrfabrik Danzig" stamping on the receiver.

You handled this little rifle when you and Ironhead visited a few years ago.

Excuse me for not remembering every detail, It was like being invited into the Warehouse at the end of Indiana Jones and then being asked what was the marked on the bottom of the 5,431st box on the east end of the building...

Is yours marked Mod 2 with the crest on the top...????

Have you shot it??? What did you use 22 LR or CB???

I have two that are rare. First, Marlin 39M Octagon, only made 1200 of them and only in 1973. Second is a 1951 Marlin 39A "peanut" rifle, only made with brass "peanut" insert for HALF of 1951 due to brass needed for Korean War effort.

Yes, I shot it just a few times, usually with Flobert caps. Even though it is marked ".22Lg", a .33 long -not L.R.- will rupture the case.

And yes, the crest is the same as your photo.

If you ever get the whim to take a look at that brass plate underneath your rifle, I have always wanted to see what one of those looked liked
