Mid 60's Marlin 57M in 22 mag. It's a great rifle.
Winchester 60A and Mossberg 144LSB with a similar vintage weaver fixed power scope.
Marlin 39A 1950 with vintage Redfield peep sight
I have a Gewehrfabrik Danzig Model 2 single shot, manufactured in 1919.
It is serial number 1.
Wow, you would ink that would be in a museum... Amazing how those guys just shipped it out for sales... Any backstory on this...???
What does it say in the stock, on that 1st photo??
The stock is stamped "Germany" in the same German Gothic font as the "Gewehrfabrik Danzig" stamping on the receiver.
You handled this little rifle when you and Ironhead visited a few years ago.
I remembered that... but Indy IS Ironhead...

Excuse me for not remembering every detail, It was like being invited into the Warehouse at the end of Indiana Jones and then being asked what was the marked on the bottom of the 5,431st box on the east end of the building...
Is yours marked Mod 2 with the crest on the top...????
Have you shot it??? What did you use 22 LR or CB???
Did you ever shoot it much? I was wondering how it shot?Stevens Marksman, 22 single shot. Passed it on to my Son a few years ago.
I have two that are rare. First, Marlin 39M Octagon, only made 1200 of them and only in 1973. Second is a 1951 Marlin 39A "peanut" rifle, only made with brass "peanut" insert for HALF of 1951 due to brass needed for Korean War effort.
