      Doe down with 357 Max (Warning Graphic)

      My wife shot a doe with her 357 Max Encore. I was really happy with the performance of the Hornady 180 SSP. Double lung shot doe ran about 40 yards. This firearm has been a blast to shoot and very accurate. Wife with doe Entrance Exit

      Factory 308 ammunition

      I just bought an Encore 308 pistol and can't find any ammo to try it out. Anyone have 20 or so rounds to sell at a reasonable price or know a local shop that has some in stock? I am not a hoarder or reseller, just looking to shoot my new pistol. Thanks, I am in Indianapolis.

      Remington 7600 in Indiana???

      Is there any custom made options for a Indiana deer legal cartridge in the Remington 7600? I see they have a 35 remington and 35 Whelen available. Would it be possible to have a barrel made in 358 Hoosier? I don't know much about these guns but I do like the idea of a pump in the woods.

      Scope for load development

      Do any of you guys use higher powered scopes strictly for load development? I have been thinking of buying an affordable 6X24 just for the purpose of shooting groups, then switching back to the old trusty 3X9 for hunting. Any recommendations on a cheap scope that will hold up for bench work?
