Tons of options out there. I'm using an Otis kit currently and am happy with it. Lots of attachments and options in their larger kits and they are reasonably priced.
I run a Viper PST 1-4 in a Bobro QD (RTZ) Mount and it fits in the bag nicely in the pouch next to the barrel. Re-attaches and maintains zero every time. Not the cheapest option, but I absolutely love it. (no need to modify the bag at all)

I recently purchased my first mosin and I need to check my headspace for safety and peace of mind. Does anyone have any I could borrow for a few seconds to make sure I'm good to go?
One of my long time friends and now employee was vehemently anti-gun until Sandy Hook. After Sandy Hook he came to me fuming mad and was ranting and raving about guns, mental illness, guns, etc... I let him calm down then talked to him rationally. I found that by asking him some questions I...
Best ways to learn in order.
1. Handle one. Find someone with one that will let you handle it, work it, field strip it. Have them show you the parts, what parts wear, what parts are static, how the mechanism operates, etc... This is the best way in my opinion as it doesn't involve money...
As wsenefeld stated if you're going to suppress you might end up going brand loyal to accommodate a QD mount. There are some companies out there making muzzle devices that are set up for specific QD set ups, but by and large they are company specific. I run an AAC muzzle brake so I can QD my...
This could really hurt small business in America. Think about this. Supermarket ABC hires a company to deliver its food from the warehouse to the individual store for a week because their trucks are undergoing service. The driver for that company has an incident and crashes his truck on the...
I've shot over 1000 yds a couple times and that's how I caught the bug. Hearing a .338 punch through steel at 1300 yds is one of those things that could put a smile on anyone's face. I want to just get out but it's not something I can do with work right now.
I know its a learned thing, wind...
I've reasearched 6.5x284 but the one thing that really concerns me with it is barrel wear. I've heard good things about it, but the one bad thing is that barrels are a lot more expensive, and while I don't mind a barrel swap I want a reasonable life out of it and that caliber from everything...
So out of curiosity, 6.5cm. Is it a flavor of the month or is it here to stay? From what I am finding it's pretty much the .260 in a slightly smaller package that doesn't have the magazine feed issues of the .260 when larger bullets are used. It seems with bullets 140gr and less .260 is...
That's what I want out of it. Right now time is my enemy, work is just too busy and getting ready for peak isn't making it any easier. Of course when peak hits it just gets harder, so it won't be until next Feb/Mar until I have enough free time to do anything other than a quick meet ups with...
My skin is plenty thick, comes with the territory when you're overweight. It's just the one thing that gets me going when someone you don't know says something that implies your untruthful or lacking of intent to the point of dishonesty. I've been assured Sloughfoot didn't mean anything by it...
I don't think it's reasonable at any point to call someone a liar if you have no point of reference concerning them. I make long term plans, it's what I do. My AR took me almost 2 years to figure out what I wanted, get the parts, and get it built. 1 year is actually kind of quick for me. I...
