When I was a child my father shot on the Navy pistol team and they made their own solution. I think it was basically 2/3rds kerosine and 1/3rd light-weight oil. Are there other recipes out there?
It's been around 12 years since I've shot this rifle so I started over with the loading recipe. These are Nosler 50 gr Ballistic Tip at 100 yards.
I will most likely do some tweaking but the groups are fairly close to what I want.
Thank you for sticking around so I could get some powder from you today. The inventory that I could see was very impressive and I'm glad I made the trip. You'll be seeing more of me.

I'm looking for some 380 brass for reloading. I know there have been some here selling brass in the past but I don't see any recent threads for this commodity. I live on the west side but work on the east side of Indy. If you have some let me know and I'll buy it as long as the price is fair.
Last month I took the leap and bought a new Springfield 1911 A-1 Loaded. I took it to the range and it shot a very nice grouping from the start although it was a bit to the left. One of the 1st things I thought would be nice to have changed was the front sight. The Loaded comes with...
I'm loading up some 9mm with Remington 115 gr FMJ and Power Pistol with CCI 500 primers.
Would anyone want to share their recipe for a good target load that won't punish my wife's hand. She may want to shoot some bowling pins tomorrow.
**SOLD** This is a nice tack driver for those that like accuracy and dependability in a .22 caliber pistol. $335.00 will get you the pistol, Bushnell Red Dot, and the 4 magazines shown in the photo. I'm located in NE Indianapolis and not far from ECPR.
Thanks for looking,
Mark
I went to the range to sight in my Ruger 22/45 target pistol and had a damnit. The gun quit shooting and then I noticed one of the pins had worked itself over halfway out and I couldn't get it back in.
I took it home and field stripped it so I could get everything aligned. That's when it...
Glock Comparison - UPDATE 10-13
I have a Gen IV Glock M35 that I put a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel in and it shoots amazingly accurate. I still need to do something with the trigger but for now I'm pretty happy.
Now I'm looking for something more compact that my wife can shoot but I would like it...
Here's the tentative plan:
I just got this 4 Gen 35 and put a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel in it and it groups better than I expected. I want to do the trigger so it's setup for target shooting.......... 2-3 lb would be nice but the over-travel is what really drives me nuts.
I'm thinking about...
A few weeks ago I bought a Glock 35 in 40 cal which I am very happy with. The accuracy was so/so but I figured it was me and not the gun. I also ordered the Lone Wolf 9 mm barrel and magazine later that week and tried it out last Sunday. The Lone Wolf 9 mm accuracy was unbelievable. Some may...
My wife has a new Bersa 380 Thunder and I have a new Glock 35 that I just got the 9 mm conversion for two days ago. Needless to say we've been itching to get out to the range and poke some holes in paper.
I wanted to get some more ammo first so I sent to the Walmart a few blocks away and...
I'm transmitting to you from the Eagle Creek area in NW Indy. Like you folks, I'm a gun enthusiast and love to target shoot as well as hunt. Being from the Dakotas I've done a lot more with rifle than pistol but, that's changing since I can't shoot most of my rifles here in Indiana.
I...
