      Anybody use a Summit Viper?

I have one and love it. Light weight, easy to set up. I paid a lot more than that.

Any bird dog trainers out there...

Know where to find quail? Both of my providers have gone out of business. Any suggestions? I don't mind driving.

      I called in a bobcat!

So far, I've had the best luck with cotton tail distress. What has been bringing you the most success?

      I called in a bobcat!

He responded to cotton tail distress. Came in pretty quick, stopped about 10 yards from my decoy (the decoy didn't seem to interest him much). He sat by the tree a minute and then wandered off. He had his winter coat, but I'd guess he was around 40lbs.

      I called in a bobcat!

I was out coyote hunting and called in a bobcat! It's the first time that I have ever witnessed a bobcat in the wild! I thought it was a real privilege. I snapped a quick pic of him with my phone, but the quality isn't very good...

      Taxidermy is Ready

Thanks, all! Harvested him in Greene County. Duyane Tucker at Antler & Fin in Indianapolis did the Taxidermy work. Duyane also scored him: Pope & Young 154 1/8

      Taxidermy is Ready

This is my biggest buck yet - had to get him mounted. I think it turned out pretty well.

      Any Bird hunters out there?

I am real happy with my Brittany pup. Loves water, but I've not taken him waterfowl hunting.

      My Biggest Buck!

That's a good price. The taxidermist that is working mine has been in business for 30 years - the rest of his work looked really good. Good luck with your hunt!

      A Pheasant hunter is born

Welcome aboard young man. One of my favorite memories is hunting with my grandpa and his dogs. Hope to share it with my grandson some day too.

      My Biggest Buck!

Thanks again, folks. Yeah, getting this one mounted - I usually give the antlers to my bird dog...not this time. Made a deal with the wife that if he made the record book and taxidermy was under $500...I'd get a shoulder mount for over the fireplace.

      My Biggest Buck!

Thanks, All! Here's the rest of the story... I especially looked forward to opening day of firearm season this year, because for the last couple of years a good friend and I have traveled down to southern Indiana to hunt. We set up a deer camp on two pieces of connecting family property -...
