      What to do with a misfire AFTER it's out of the gun?

      Chances are, if the primer has repeatedly been struck, there's no powder in it to begin with. One or two smacks with a kinetic bullet puller and thats all she wrote. When i reloaded .44 mag i had several that didn't get charged. (Poor process on my part)

      270 win help

      Fail to see the problem. You aren't going to punch one hole groups using handloads with different bullet weights. The fastest powder I would use in .270 is IMR-4064. Also, if your factory ammo shoots like that, I wouldn't even bother reloading.
