    Make it a INGO event.

CMP kimber 82g with a bit of work done. The last of the cheap gov’ment target rifles ever made.

That would be awesome. Spring time INGO 22LR show off event at MCF&G :D

Just a heads up on the 77/22, Ruger has discontinued them in 22LR. The current 77/22 is chambered for 22 Hornet. A quick look on Gunbroker shows them in the 500-700 range.

I’d look into one if I could score it on the low end, but I’d struggle to pay 700 on a .22 for my uses and current skill level.

You are correct on new Ruger 77/22s but they made it in 22lr for decades and there are a lot of them out there. Personally I think they were made with better quality materials than the new rifles which is why I tend to try and procure older firearms. I actually picked my 77/22 up here on INGO a while back for $450. They can be found at decent prices if you look around.

I love me a nice .22. I have two 10/22's. One with a folding stock meant to be a mobile rifle, and one with a tac sol barrel. Love them both. I get the accuracy sacrifice with auto loading, but I've never wanted more in accuracy from the tac sol barrel.
I suppose if I were more in to competitive shooting I'd go for a bolt gun.

I rather like the flush fit mag of the Rugers.
Usually carry my rigs afield with hand at balance point.
Had a Anschutz 1403...........nice rig. But w 4-12X AO was a but of a tank. Liked my Anschutz 141 (sporter that hung right with the heavier rig).
It had a mag that stuck out (baseplate only), so was tolerable.
Had a Rem 541T HB..........small bolt handle felt funky, and that plastic %$#@ mag that stuck out made it go bye bye.
552 and 572 models plus others...........

Back to a boring old 10/22. Titan stock and GM bbl. Volq hammer.
    $450 not counting scope/rings.

I think this is a must. Anyone interested post here and we'll figure out a good day to do this in March or April when it warms up. I'm also a member, so that should help. This could be a lot of fun :yesway:

    Interesting... May try joining this.

I have several CZ 452s in various models and calibers. Outstanding rifles! Also have Remington, Ruger, marlin ,Mauser and norinco. CZ are my favorites of the bunch!

I would think several of us would be fine. MCF&G has a large line to shoot on and as long as we keep it around 6 or 8 it should be manageable.

Colt, I don't know why but the system isn't letting me quote you. Sometimes quick reply makes me sad. That said, I love CZ's and can easily see myself ending up with a CZ rifle at some point.
