      I'll be at the Chevelle show tonight. Expect a thorough pat down. They'll have you remove everything from your pockets. Same deal and same saecurity as if you go to a show at White River or Klipsh/Verizon/Deer Creek/whatever they are calling it now.

      I lovey Rugers. They are my favorite guns handsdown. I managed to but a SR1911 on Saturday so I'm one happy camper

      Chiappa M1 Carbine in .22LR

      I have an Chiappa M4 upper in .22LR. It shoots well but is finicky with ammo. It like federal and cci but won't feed remington at all. I have a 10/22 as well. The Ruger is a much higher quality fiream in my opinion when compared to my Chiappa.

      Custom ear plugs?

      I have a set of SureFire EarPro Sonic 3 plugs that I bought for less than $15 bucks. They rock! You can have a conversation with them in but they block out all the pistol and rifle noise while shooting. I highly recommend them.

      I have an otterbox on my android phone. No issues to date. It offers great drop protection.

      How long did everybody wait in line?

      Got there at 1:30. On the door at 3:45. The long line was due to the entry bottleneck. They needed to sell tux outside so you didn't have to wait in line to buy a ticket before checking guns.

      Now there is a cost effective idea! GPS won't make any difference. Criminals will always find a way to have illegal unregistered firearms. If the government can't track registered sex offenders without tripping over themselves, how are they going to track millions of guns?

      Powder prices at the 1500

      Last show I bought 4 lbs W231 for $75. I'd expect prices be be a bit higher as it is getting tougher to find powder in stock.

      I've used both cash and cc at the 1500. I've bought guns with both cash and cc. I've always managed to score a slightly better deal when I ask what's the cash price.
