I'll start this out by saying I know that the advice I get on a forum is worth what I paid for it, but perhaps somebody can provide some clarification. In Indiana Code - Section 35-41-3-2: Use of force to protect person or property, it states the following:
"(a) A person is justified in using...
I'm of the other mindset, Glock was my first gun. The way I figure it, if it isn't forgiving, I won't develop bad habits. My only ND was at the range with the muzzle pointed downrange after the gun had been malfunctioning. And no, it wasn't a problem with the gun, but a problem with my...
I'm pretty certain they don't. In my youth, I had enough speeding tickets to have my license suspended twice, almost a third time. Not so much as a peep when I applied for mine and I answered no to the question.

As well as the Republicans in office always trying to please the media by throwing their own under the bus. Whether they don't realize the media will never be with them, or they are just closer to being a single party system then they want to admit, I don't know.
I don't see the conflict. You should get training, and a responsible person I would hope, agrees. But that does not mean it should be mandated by the government. To continue the inaccurate car analogy, people take defensive driving courses or high speed courses to improve their skills because...
Most of the public doesn't care, they are too busy being entertained to bother with real life. Then there are those who just can't believe it would happen in America. Of course, the premise is flawed because of carpools, taxis, or buses... :D
I support Constitutional carry, but my take on it is that the permit won't go away, just the lifetime time frame. It'll likely go back to 4 year renewal. THAT is something I am against. If I can't have Constitutional carry, lifetime permit is the next best thing.
I say go big. Glock 17 for my first, shot the Glock 22 after my friend let me try his M&P at the range, and I got the iconic 17 the next day. I love the way it shoots and I carry it without any trouble IWB.
I don't own an AR because I just don't like long guns, they aren't comfortable to me. However, as I will be getting my son a lever action rifle soon, maybe he can help me out in that department.
I bought a Glock because it was within my means, it is reliable (as are many other fine brands), I like simplicity, and I like the way they look. I am sure that it will not be the only brand that ends up in my collection. Sigs have their fanboys too. :):
