As far as I know there isn't any law forbidding hospital carry. But I do know that IU has their doors tagged with 'NO Firearms permitted on hospital grounds" and their security doesn't like violators very much.
Definitely, too many what ifs and possibilities to detect numerous nearbys for this to be accurate enough to use. If they try it I see the potential for some serious legal wrangling here.
Just voted in the MESSNBC poll. 88% yes, 8% No and 4% Only for Self-Defense.
Target poll: 58% support Target's move, 39% No and 4% Step in the right direction. Mostly Libs on this one.
According to my wife who is a nurse and was an ER manager, a 2 yr degree LPN makes on average, depending on what type of facility they work in, around $13 to $17 an hour. 2 years of college. And we have some that think an unskilled burger flipper should make the same or more? People don't...
They didn't die, but they did bleed. A lot if they were in serious and/or worse condition. And the gun laws in Indiana are more favorable to gun owner that a lot of states. Texas comes to mind.
My point exactly. Anywhere there is any wiggle room (and occasionally when there isn'), if one is part of even a marginally protected class (especially if they tend to issue fatwa's and and kill people ie Rushdie and Van Gough) Liberals tend to compromise their so called principles and head...
I have had a question that hasn't yet been posed. What if the owners of the bakery were Muslim and refused to make the cake? Would the gay guys have sued them? What would the verdict have been? And what would have been the aftermath had they been sued and the same verdict been rendered? Given...
So then given the preponderance of evidence, we do not. Live in a FREE country. As if we didn't already know the answer to that. We are just Free'er (for now and by less than 20 or 30 years ago) than most other places.
Or they can buy one cake with no topper and then go and buy the two dudes, and put them on top themselves. I have not doubt there would be someplace to buy them. The baker doesn't make them himself. Or maybe just find a gay run bakery and have them make the cake. Win-win. But NOOOOOO. We MUST...
If the people that owned the bakery were the only business that could supply the cake I could see the argument. But in reality it is one of a myriad of businesses that could do the job. And the bakers went so far as to give references of alternative bakeries that could do the job. Something that...
Yep, same herre. My daughters are exactly the ages yours are. And you KNOW the first time you buy theirs your are GOING TO GET THE WRONG ONES. It's just the way things work. And it bothered them far more than it did me.
It's still free trade if our companies are able to trade "freely" with companies in other countries. The rules you mention only determine the level of local regulation. Unless you are talking trade restrictions. Then the answer is kind of and skewed in favor of the other guy.
