      Melting Wheel Weights

      My wife just told me that she would let me have one of her Wolfgang Puck stainless steel pots she no longer wants to use. I know many of you have said to use a cast pot. What do you think about stainless steel? Would that be acceptable??

      I have a bucket of wheel weights that I want to melt into ingots. I used a new Lyman Mag 20 pot to melt another bucket I had, but it took almost 8 hours to melt the other bucket.       Is the bubble about to burst?

      I was in Kansas over the weekend and I stopped at the Cabelas there and I was suprised to see that the gun cases were full at levels I haven't seen in quite a while and the ammo shelves were fairly full as well. Still no 22LR, but it looked like it MAYBE getting better, at least there it is.

      Range time

      I had just bought a Yugo SKS that i really want to shoot, but I'm short on 7.62X39 so I' ve only been able to fire 20 rounds through it so far. Can't wait for the ammo shortage to ease up a bit.

      I've loaded about two thousand rounds of 9mm and 40 with the Tula primers. So far, I've shout about three hundred rounds with no problems at all.

      I had the same question, I chose the M&P and I absolutely love it!!!! I got the compact 40 version, and I can shoot it better than just about any handgun I own!!

      I would probably be wanting to use the 180gr bullet, possibly the 165, but most likely the 180gr. XtremeVel, you make a good point of flash. In keeping with as close as possible to the factory load, I would also want to keep the flash down. When I carry, I will be loaded with factory ammo...

      Does anyone have a recipe to duplicate the Gold Dot loading in 40 S&W? I have placed an order for a couple hundred Gold Dot bullets and I want to try to duplicate that load since that is what I have decided to carry. You know, practice with what you carry. Thanks for any suggestions!!
