Not sure how often you go to indy ( I know its not Monroe county, close but everyone goes to Indy every now and then) Check out indy drum something like 35+ for a new food grade 55 gallon barrel.
Got a New 870 and 300 rounds of varies loads. While i was getting that they were bringing out there remaining stock of 9mm and i was able to fight my way there the crowd to get 500 more rounds. I wouldn't normally do that but it was at a reasonable price for the times.
I have been learning some new skills in the last few month for an kind of Shtf/Life situation. Examples, different ways to start a fire, ways to collect and purify water, plants in my area that are edible and so on. What are some skill that one would suggest learning for a life/shtf situation...

Im trying to figure out the best course of action to store pasta. I know to get any time at all out of it i need to do something more then just the box. So the question is what is the best way to store pasta long term, Vacuum sealer, number 10 cans with O2 pack, mylar with O2?
Took advantage of $.39 deal at Kroger got 60 cans each of Corn, green beans, peas. Also bought some canned fruits, beans, tuna, chicken, boxed pasta, bottle water and 10 bags of dog food.

I have been looking for a different pistol to but with my BOB. I currently have a Ruger lc9 but my SO would like to start to us that for her CW. I dont want to leave the BOB empty and, dont want her not to have a CW any longer. So i have been looking for a very cheap pistol until funds open up...
I am thinking about putting a hand crank weather radio/Power supply in my BOB. To keep it protected from water i was going to put it in a sealed Mylar bag. Would this also serve as a basic Faraday cage?
