      Bee/wasp/hornet/whatever identification

      Yellow Jackets for sure, nasty sting from them as they attack in a group, nest usually is underground and night time is the best for spraying then with killer or a half cup of gas down the hole will do the job.

      Burgers by state

      Just returned from out west and while the IN and OUT is great there is a chain called FREDDYS, the steak burger there is better than any burger I have encountered in my 65 years here on earth. The one we went to was in YUKON , OK., but checking on the internet I see 1 in Kentucky and 1 in Ill.

      Trees as a backstop

      Thats my set up, like wolfman said, stagger the logs so there are no gaps. Mine is made of 18-20 inch logs.

      Any good breweries around French Lick?

      Wine, but no local beer. Maybe 3 or 4 places that serve beer and food. It is a very small town with a very large hotel/casino. Best chicken in town is Fast Eddies Country Store/ Papa Johns Pizza.

      Looking thru my books I see a full size 357 M&P, but couldn't tell you how many was made and if it is still in production. Seems that all M&P in 357 have been archived and no longer in production...

      M&P22

      One thing I find great about the MP 22 for younger shooters is its light weight as compared to other 22's I've owned. Like previously mentioned, it will shoot any 22lr you feed it.

      Mossberg 500 value question

      I have the same gun with 28" barrel and just change the choke rather than change the barrel as per Mossberg's instructions. Shoots very well, 3 chokes and all bases covered.

      Jimenez JA 9mm

      From what I have seen the JA9 is junk, get something better. My Sister in law bought her man friend a JA9 and after 1 round of shooting the recoil broke the rear sight off so now it is in Nevada being repaired.

      Trying to quit smoking.

      My wife and I, both life long smokers in our 60's, quit with the help of Chantix. We have been smoke free for about four months now and we are off the Chantix. The craving still come during stressful times but we can manage them and they don't last long. Why did we quit, I have lost both...

      Why is my house so ineffecient

      My thoughts also, put as much insulation in as you want, but if your equipment is old and outdated its not going to help a lot. A really good heatpump system is well worth the money, dropped my heating/cooling bill by $100.00 a month.

      Thought I was the only one this lucky, I shot one out of the top of a tree just to find the tree was on the edge of a ravine and I wouldn't try climbing down there for 1 tree rat.

      natural insect repellants?

      Try "BUGGINS" all natural insect repellent. Can be purchased at Rural King. I put it on my arms, neck and face and flying insects stay away. It is Deet free.
