Almost hit a coyote on the interstate today

Forgot to mention, had a pack of coyotes once run out in front of a semi in northern Nevada in winter. Truck almost lost control on the icy roads. A few 100 feet closer and I would have been in his out of control way. I would have lost in my Honda crx.... Over coyotes.. I have no love for them

Almost hit a coyote on the interstate today

Probably would have been better to send that guy on a bumper ride. Swerving cars cause other people to swerve. I can see swerving to avoid a deer just because of size, but not a coyote. I know its instincts to swerve, I'd just rather avoid other traffic.

      Any Duck Dynasty watchers?

Pretty down to earth folk. Good to see the family value they bring to the TV nation. I've only seen a few episodes, but have always need good

So there I was, in the park, minding my OWN DAMN BUSINESS...

That bird had every right to eat u. U are only a human, how dare u not give yourself up to such a worthy creature. Now that bird will tell the story of the BIG one that got away.

      Any rabbit hunters out there?

I've got a bunch that like to hangout around my place. Maybe that's why the coyote s like the area so much. I would think their fur would,d change more with the environment, but the ones I see stick out like sore thumbs.

Edwardsburg 5-year-old drops two with a muzzleloader

Great job. Good way to raise them with respect for the firearm, he should do well

      Outdoor Shows

Almost worth a trip up there/. I used to fish religiously, now... Not so much. I was off shore fishing in Florida over Christmas.. Caught some perch. It was fun, except for the sea sickness

      any ice fisherman

How much ice is at sum mitt? I have 2 lakes next to me and have only a little surface ice. Nothing to stand on that's for sure. Need weeks and weeks of cold before I'd venture out. Broke thru ice once or twice, like falling thru glass. Even when its shallow it can hurt.

      Daughter tags out today

Forgot to ask, how many years had she been hunting? My girls are pretty young and not ready to start shooting, butr I was thinking that 8 is a good age to start with the gun safety

      tracking deer in the snow

Its the thrill of the hunt. I'd like about 100 acres of rough woodlands to hunt in. Do my own thing. That's a perfect world. I get deer every morning outside my window, but live in a homeowners association where u can't hunt..... Time to move

      Crossbows-recurve vs. compound

I've been in the market for a while on a nice crossbow or a compound. Have some shoulder issues, but still like the feel of the compound. Would hate to buy one then not be able to use it after a few years.

      Eskimo in the snow

I was in GA over Christmas an went snow sledding. Kids had fun. It was actually at stone mountain on the man made snow, but was still a cool time. Never was a fan of Ga or Alabama. Spent some army time three. Prefer the NW

      Feedin The Squirrels

The wife feeds ours. Now they are almost too fat to make it up the tree. Kinda funny. The coyotes are keeping an eye on them that's for sure
