So I drive past the gun store to and from work everyday and I know that when I stopped in last month that I was told the range should be open by the middle to end of November. Is there a definitive date for it to open, the suspense is killing me!!!

We are fairly new shooters and took a couple of classes, one that shot at Atlanta Conservation Club, the other at ECPR. I have also read about MCFG. If you are members at a private range, how did you choose the range? Which ones do you like the best in the central Indiana area?
I want to share some info about the new Panther Ridge Training Center range, which is about 15 miles outside of Bloomington. I received most of this info from its owner, Jerimiah, and the rest from his brother Matthew (who manages the Bloomington Home and Personal Security Store). I am posting...
Hit the range today with Allen to try out the CW9
Started out with Federal 9mm and didn't have any problems, it shot well, the recoil was mild and the gun was FUN TO SHOOT! I was hitting a bit to the right often, still not sure if it was me or the gun. Shot some of allens hotter hand loads...
Yesterday, my friend Mark and I went to the Wilbur Wright Fish and Wildlife Area to sight in his AR-15 (Rock River Arms Carbine 5.56). Brand new weapon, iron sights, yada, yada, yada.
First of all the weather was perfect. After a week of cold and rain the sun came out and the wind died...
I would like to take my wife to the range so that she can learn how to fire a .25 auto that I got her for self defense. Do anyone know of a place in Indianapolis, Fishers, Carmel, etc.
I have figured out the secrets to keeping gorgeous women shooting gun and to keep there interests in the sport instead of shopping. Unfortunately just as much money will be spent.
Today I had the opportunity to take a lovely lady to the range today to fire some guns she has never had the...
Went to MCFG today with AllenM, he bought a set of steel plates he'd just made this weekend and the worked quite well. Did a little paper shooting as well but mostly had fun shooting the steel plates. I brought my G17, Keltec PF9, and a Springer 1911, Allen had a sweet .357 8rnd revolver...
So here's my story. Back in March I purchased a new m&p 9mm and had the itch to shoot it. A buddy of mine who has ltch decided to go to jasper pulaski to shoot his newly built ar and a variety of pistols including my new one. My ltch had expired and I had been waiting for a new one for four...
Let me start out by saying, I am a very very lucky man. :rockwoot:
She never really liked my little J Frame, so when she wanted to take my new Ruger GP100 out for a spin, it kinda surprised me. I'm not gonna lie, I had reservations about letting her shoot it. It has almost no kick when...
heres my write up, from another board:
It's been 10 months since i got the FAL itch, and 8 months since i got one. I finally got to the range. Sorry about the huge pictures.
here's a link to the video i took at the range with my phone: april range trip

This question I assumed but never thought to varify. I did a search on here and google and didnt find the answer I was looking for, also going over IC Code 35-47-2 didnt offer any exemptions to license holders. Obviously the license covers the weapons you carry on you, I always just assumed...
Does anybody remember the good old days when you could take a couch, car, refrigerator, ect to Camp Atterbury. I remember when you could just walk up, set up your targets, and blow the to he!! with a quarter stick of dynamite, fully auto machine guns, or whatever else your heart desired.
I...

Had a fun day at Blythes indoor range with my Ruger 10/22. And I had a new shooter with me. She had never shot or touched a gun in her life, and she was a little scared, took me 20 minutes of coaxing to get her to pick up the .22 and have a blast with it. I went through the...
Took the lady shooting again, this time she shot the heck out of my Ruger P95. And she had a blast.
About a week ago, we were watching the movie Taken, and she looked at me and said, "Can we shoot handguns like that?" I had to tell her, "No, but we can shoot handguns." So I thought I...
And she is all mine, Muahahahahaha. Actually she is a very independent woman.
Let me start off by saying that I am a very lucky man. I had been feeling down for a few weeks because now that i'm on the night shift and don't ever have a day off that my friends who work M-F have off, its...
My wife and I were needing to get out and shoot for a while, so I made plans with a buddy to go get some bang bang time out at his family's place. Luckily, he's got a bunch of land out in the middle of nowhere (and I mean BFE) that he shoots on all the time. So we drove out and finally found...
Lets see what your backyard range looks like. Here's my 50 yarder out back. Shoot my AK or .308 winchester. Most fun and economical shooting tin cans or hanging clays with my Marlin 60.

I am interested in building a shooting range in my basement. My question is about the law that makes it unlawful to discharge a firearm within city limits. Would that also be the case in a in-home firing range? Anyone have any insight?
Thanks,
