      3rd Gen Glocks

+1. I'd say look for "old stock" Gen 3s.

Useless thread, 6000 one-liners: You can own and carry but?

+1. I can cite many examples where justified shooters are not only not prosecuted, but heralded by the community!

So your gunshot incapacitated the perp, now what?

If they still have control of their weapon (especially a firearm) then I'd say absolutely justified if you NEED to fire again.

So your gunshot incapacitated the perp, now what?

No, I don't think it would. In fact, legally, it's not something the Jury would (or should) ever hear. The inquiry is quite simple. Did you act reasonably to protect yourself or others from death or serious bodily harm. (1) Remain vigilant (2) Remove the threat (gain control of his...

      2 Good experience with LEOs

Sometimes we (or at least I am) are harsh on Law Enforcement. In the last couple years I have had 2 good experiences with officers regarding being armed. #1 Bargersville-About 2 years ago, at about 3:00 a.m., I awake to pounding on my front door. My wife was in Evansville on business...

Monroe County Sheriff R. Lutz -1

+1. I'm in. My office is in B'ton and I often carry IWB under my suit jacket, but routinely will get gas, go in conv store without jacket on.
    10. P

      Kahr PM9

      Foxx IWB Tuckable.
    11. P

      Anyone shooting a KAHR PM9?

I carry my PM9 often. Been 100% reliable.
    12. P

      Sub compact

S&W M&P 9c. Fits my hand better than the 26. XD9SC is also a good choice.

      Witness Compact .45

I had an EAA Witness (branded Tanfoglo) and it was 100% reliable and adequately accurate.

Subcompact 1911s Just don't work well....

+1. My Kimber Ultras have been 100% reliable and very accurate for SD. The photo below is at 35 yards (at 10-15 yards, its all 10 ring):

downsize to Glock 30 or switch to 26?

Yes. I carry a G29 often, but it's bulky for IWB. The 26 is much more comfortable/lighter/thinner. 1.18 v. 1.27 doesn't sound like much, but you definitely feel it.
    18. P

Glock 27 or Springfeild XD Subcompact

Have both, prefer the XD. Fits my hand better with the Pearce +0 ext.
