      I have read through this a bit, and the key thing is the charge that was actually filed. 2nd Degree Murder requires that there be malicious intent. Even if he unjustifiably killed the kid, the state has not proved that he intended to do so beforehand.

      The standard MagPul's will fit with some muscle but the Ranger/Speed plates will not.

      Glock 22 or 23. Easily convertible to 357 Sig or 9mm with a barrel swap. Gen 4s are even better, to boot. No need to texture the grips.

      Poteto, Potato. Either way, its not cheap for a company to show down for an entire day (not to mention with over a year in back-orders. For my company (we are smaller than Colt), that would cost us almost a $1M/day. Talk about putting your money where you mouth is!

      Best Optics for 10/22

      Given the almost nonexistent recoil on your weapon, a cheap scope, or even red dot will work well. On my S&W M&P15-22 I went with a Bushnell Red Dot with an Airsoft 3x Magnifier. Works like a charm!

      Going the inexpensive route... Inova X3 or X3r. May not have the lumens of the other ones, but it is built like a tank. They claim a meter drop resistance.... I have dropped it off the side of a steel mill with only a small scratch.
