      Ruger LCR

I have the original 38 version and I can shoot it with more accuracy than my other snubbies.

What type of tactical pen do you carry? If any.....

I have a few. I carry a CRKT Tao by Allen Elieshwitz. Also the Elite Tactical designed by Tom Anderson. About 20% of the finish is off that one. I colect them for the design work, being a lathe person.

      Glock 21 a good gun ?

The original 21 was almost too big for my hand to hold comfortably. The 21SF was noticeably a better fit. Both are easy shooters for me and I'm accurate with both.

      Any wet shavers out there?

Gillette Tech, Personna blue or Voskhod double edge blades. Omega boar brushes and too many soaps/creams to list. No ingrown hairs, rash or knicks since dumping cartridges. If you want a new obsession, go to the Badger and Blade forum.

      Ruger SP-101, anyone have one?

Mine is one of the old ones after the 125 grain only era. It was long enough to chamber a 180 grain Black Talon. I only did that once. I eventually replaced the trigger return spring but other than that it is stock. It is a tank.

      Worst gun you ever bought!

I sent it in twice for repair. They replaced the whole thing once. It did work well for a box of ammo before it started breaking hammers. I should call and ask since they don't reply to emails.

      Worst gun you ever bought!

Skyy CPX-1. Took it to the range, cleaned it up, put a snap cap in it and the hammer broke. Sent it in got it back and had a friend shoot it to see if he wanted one. Hammer broke again on the first round. Hoping for a buy back somewhere to get some money back.

      Good article on 1911 malfunctions

I had a Springfield mini or compact mini that had the high angle jam all the time. It had a recoil spring that was almost too hard to hand cycle and nothing could make it lighter. I shortened the spring but could never get it to cycle properly. Just like the author stated. It would not work with...

      Glock 30 VS. Glock 21

I have shot the G21 and G21 SF and can tell the difference in grip size. I have a G30 and have handled a G30 SF but can't tell one from the other. I also seem to shoot the G30 a little better than the 21's. With the G17 & G26, they are about the same. Go figure.

      Box Store guns are different?

If I was told that, I'd tell the person he lost me as a customer.

ROCK ISLAND ARMORY 1911 (owner satisfaction poll)

I had a compact model with the usual upgrades From the GI style and a full size GI model. Both worked fine for me. Sold them to two co workers who are more 1911 fanboys than I am. They still are working.

      Armscor Rock Island 1911 ,45acp- $325?

I had a 'milspec' and a compact RIA. No issues with either. Sold them to coworkers who like 1911's more than I.

      New Sig missing stuff??

My P 250's had no spent case. They might not be eligible to sell in the states that require spent cases since they have no safeties.

If you could do it over again...

Ruger speed six. Snub nosed. I'd buy a four inch now. Better balance.

      Ruger SR9c

I had a chance to take my new one to the range. I was shooting it side by side with a Sig P250 compact. It felt slimmer in my hand but comfortable. Had no issues with any of the ammo I fed it. And cleaning after was easy. Not Glock easy but easy enough.

WHY SO MANY USED LCR's FOR SALE?

Some can't manage the recoil, some the sight radius or the diminutive sights. I like snubbies and my LCR is my most accurate One in my hands. I love mine. Just don't let my S&W 642 know.

You'll poke yer eye out with that!

I was lucky when I had a Springfield mini of some sort that had a spring so heavy it was near impossible to work the slide, let alone reassemble. I had a full size spring fly off so I always removed this under a towel, like a bottle of bubbly.

      Help me pick!

I have a 301 in Tigerstripe and a 350 in stonewash. Blackwash looks good but I do like the TS. Too hard to pick but I pick Tigerstripe. Barely.

      Back in Black

I have a 30 and can't tell as much difference between it and an SF like I can with the 21/21SF. The 30 is real nice to shoot.
