Does anyone have a better way to empty out the primer tube on a Dillon if you don't use all of the primers? Of course the best way is to put them in shells, but sometimes that don't work....
Only way I know is cycle the primer bar one at a time, at least I don't make 'another' mess....
Thanks
O.K., I'm new to slugs - and such, what MOA could I expect from an 870 smooth bore with rifled slugs? Tried shooting some today, and lets just say I won't tell you how it went...
So at 50 or 100 yrds, what would you expect from a smooth bore?
Thanks!
IDPA shooting IPSC and IPSC shooting IDPA
OK, shot my 3rd IPSC today, normally I shoot IDPA. This time while needing a reload, I got behind cover...didn't really think about it till a friend complemented me on my perfect IDPA reload....in an IPSC MATCH!!!
My first IPSC saw me get...

1 truck, 3 head droppers, 3 poppers and 3 clay throwers if we have them - as in, I know we have some, and I think...
Here's a question: What makes a good RO/SO (Range Officer or Safety Officer)? It will be interesting to see what your thoughts are. I'll start it out, you just fill in the blank:
I good RO/SO knows all the rules and/or ________.
Fill in the blank with your thought(s).
Steve

Just sharing a project: my vibrator is on the same bench as my loading equipment. Anytime I cleaned the brass, it was louder than what I wanted, so I put it on a timer and just did it overnight. Today, got a wild hair and built a box our of 1/4" plywood and put it over the vibrator. Knocked...
Just got home from a two day Appleseed _______. Left the blank there because I don't know which one should go in there: Shoot, Training, Experience, Learning, Practice, what? I had a GREAT TIME!
THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO VOLUNTEER TO MAKE THESE HAPPEN!
I have to admit, this was my second...
So, what does every one use to design the Courses Of Fire? I use SketchUP and seems to to work pretty well. Not perfect, but saves some time in setting up the COF before the match.
Steve
Just ordered some polish today. Never have polished AND tumbled before so I thought I'd try. What are the pluses and minuses of polishing vs not? :dunno:
Thanks
Loading 9mm with range brass - not bad quality. Using Hornady's HRN35557B 115gr, RN. RCBS taper crimper/seater. COL=1.100". I'm getting bulges on the side of the casing like if the bullet's center is off from the shell's center. Not every round, not the same orientation every time: 1...
Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!
I'll be needing to get some MEC parts and pieces. Anybody have any contacts down around Evansville for MEC, or just order from MEC directly?
Thanks!
