So I have a stripped A2 upper receiver that came off a High Standard AR chambered in .223/5.56. I am thinking about building a pistol with that stripped upper but was wondering if a 7.62 barrel will fit it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks:dunno:
So when I try to see what my rep is I can't view. It says I don't have permission to view the page. I think someone has said something to me but I don't know what to do to read it. :dunno:
Is there any benefit to having a gap free top rail. Usually I don't see the slots on them anyway. The ones in stock I can find don't have gap free rail but now I'm not sure I need It aside just the looks of it. :dunno:
Still kinda new to the forum world. Just wondering what all the little green squares under my name mean. Why do some with fewer post have more than me an so on. Thanks for any help.
Of course, all I seem to hear is about is how some idiot shot someone or robbed someone at gunpoint. There has to be some good things happening. I get tired of all the negative rap guns are getting just because some bumba** has one. Anyone hearing anything good?
I am going to have an extra upper once I get my AR back from the factory. It is going to be stripped but I was wondering if I could use it to build a pistol. If so what else do I need that would be different from a rifle, besides a short barrel? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :dunno:
So I bought a High Standard rifle from Acme gun store in Seymour a while back. I have had trouble with it ever since I bought it. When I called them to tell them what was going on they told me to bring it down and they would see what was going on. They called me and told me that I had the gas...
I am wanting to build a rifle range and a pistol range behind my house. Just something for me and the friends to play with. How big of a hill should I build for the both?
Rifle range will be 100 yards and the pistol range will be 25 yards, and maybe something at 50.

A friend of mine is going to reload for me and teach me the ropes. The only thing is that he mainly does pistol rounds. What kind of powder do i need for my .223?
Im about tired of going to gun shows. I just left Seymour. What a joke. Are there people actually paying these ridiculous prices? Is this going to be the new market value?
Has anyone purchased a High Standard HSA-15 and had problems with it? I bought one about two months ago. When I got it home I took it put of the box, land loaded a mag. I shot about ten rounds through it and it stopped shooting. I had to pull the charge handle back and eject the (not...
Went to the Illinois River last year for the first time and shot the Asian Carp. Went with a couple of friends and the camera man for Chris Brackett. That was the most fun I have ever had in my life besides the birth of my son. There were tens of thousands of fish flying that day and it was a...
So I have this iPad and just joined ingunowners. I would like to be able to posts pics. on here but I have no idea where to start. I barely know how to use the iPad itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :dunno:
I am fairly new to the AR and reloading world. A good friend of mine does all the reloading for us but he does all pistol reloads. I have recently built a High Standard AR chambered in 5.56. When I buy the die set (when I can find one for a good price) what do I need to do different for the 5.56...
I have a friend that does a lot of reloading. He does mostly pistol rounds though. He told me if I bought the die set for his press he would show me how to do it. Do I need to separate my 5.56 empties from the .223's?
