I'd have to agree with the publicity angle. This is free advertising for them. I can buy a makerbot on amazon right now and it ships without question so there is no issue with shipping something that can make a firearm. Would we even have heard of the company before this?
If you like the CP show, you'll love the Valpo one. You'll see different vendors that don't go to the CP show. Usually takes me twice as long to go through as the CP show. Only problem is that it is usually packed so hard to get down the aisles. You won't regret going.
This year flu is worse than what I've seen in last few years. Back in December was hard to keep Tamiflu in stock, but in last few years haven't had that problem. Doesn't help that Flu shot was only less than 30% effective. I got it and actually had to miss work for 2 days (first time in 12...
The hornady LNL progressive press is the one I use. I've loaded at least 25,000 rounds with only one part breaking. I called them up, super friendly staff and they sent it out next day really no questions. I think if you were going to sell stuff, you'd have to go with dillon. I can get my...
I too would love to see one here in NWI, but I dont think you ever will. Don't forget you have to compete with the internet prices. People will come in to buy powder and primers, but the other items, they will come ask questions, look it over, and then buy online. You won't be able to beat...
There seems to be someone from Pennsylvania that did something bad with "similar" info to mine as everytime it goes to further review after I found out about this individual. From what I've read, the person they talk to when calling is just a data entry person. If the 3 databases don't get a...
I'd have to agree, the first time there isn't the warmest welcome you'll get. Once you're there a few times, they warm up to you and you feel comfortable. I'd always look for Sue and hope she was there when I went.
You just have to check the brass before using it. I found some crap range brass that someone reloaded way to hot and was not worth anything. There are some calibers I load that I've never bought brass for. As long as you're not pushing it to the extreme you should be fine. I think they list...
Never had any problems with reloads or factory ammo with mine. If its 9mm and jacketed or plated, you should be good. I know you're supposed to stay away from lead bullets but that should be the only restriction.
Just don't forget about that huge communist roadblock that is our neighbor and right in the way there. I heard we're OK to go into the people's republic of Illinois with a firearm as long as the gun doesn't leave the car and you are just passing through, but I don't want to be the one to test...
I know people that have. Might want to check the length as I thought it might be more difficult to get the proper length out of the 45acp bullet in the 45colt case. The other problem you might encounter is the 45 colt is supposed to have a crimp groove and crimped but the 45 acp doesn't...
I've seen cerakote and durakote and I think the cerakote is a much better product. Durakote seems to be just like Krylon. Just be sure to prep it well (I'd use a good cleaner) and you'll be OK with either.
No experience with that person, but boy is that stuff fun. Make sure you're back really far if you decide to put gallons of paint on top of it! Really LOUD also.
Just voted, results: Looks like there's about 2,000 people per hour. Bet we never hear of this poll again.
Yes. Increased regulations on firearms are necessary to prevent another tragedy like the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary. 3.69% (2,637 votes)
No. Laws like this unnecessarily...
