      Buck Shot Guns in Anderson

+1 for Buckshotguns. Straight up owner, fair prices. (Yes, I did buy one).

      Elmore's Firearms

I agree that they can be a little rough around the edges, however, I have previously (6-8 months ago) found them to be negotiable on prices with a very decent selection of firearms and accessories...never purchased any ammo.

      Sprigfield XDs good job

I also recently jumped on the XDs wagon...250 flawless rounds, including several brands of personal defense hollow points...zero issues of any kind. It took about a month for Springfield to ship me the 7 round magazines...zero problems with any of those too! I think they "nailed" the sights...

      WTS: XD9-SC With Extras

Thanks for all of the PM's. No serious offers over an extended classified listing time frame, decided to just keep it for now.

      Thinking about an xds??

Just put 60 flawless FMJ rounds through mine, zero problems. You do need to rack the slide with authority to load the first round. A little snappy, however, the recoil was very manageable for a mini .45. I was wearing tactical gloves (it was a cold morning) and had no grip issues...not sure...

XDS grab a gun. One left f/s

Just put 60 rounds (WWB FMJ) through my new one this morning. A little snappy, but not too bad for a mini .45, (I did have thin tactical gloves on). Zero problems and I was impressed with the sights and accuracy...trigger action and long pull were anticipated and not out-of-bounds. Handled...

      Pocket 380

I would suggest either the Ruger or the Kel-Tec, depending on your wallet and tastes. The Kel-Tec is less expensive and is a little rougher...the Ruger is more expensive, but has better fit-and-finish. Both have been proven to be very reliable, (always test your carry ammo to be certain that...

How much was your first handgun?

My first was a Ruger MK I, bought it over the phone in 1976 for $88...turned out to be their Bicentennial issue ("Made In The 200th Year Of American Liberty" stamped atop the receiver). This is currently a "safe queen".

      Keeping magazines loaded ?

I've always heard from "self professed experts" that springs wear from compression/expansion, not from just being compressed. I typically keep mine fully loaded (except AR's which get 28 not 30, only for easier reloads especially with a closed bolt).

      LCP 380

I agree with many of the previous posts (not a range gun, poor trigger and sight picture, etc.). The things I like most about mine is that is has always functioned flawlessly and it is extremely easy to carry concealed, meaning that it is pretty much my everyday carry. Several friends have the...

Are you still shooting or saving ammo?

Definitely cut back on center fire shooting (rifle & pistol). Thought I would start using some of the "forgotten" .22's, however, can't hardly find any of that ammo either.

      Blackhill Ammo....Anyone heard of it?

I've only tried their rifle ammo, top notch for sure. Never tried/seen any of their pistol ammo, however, I would guess that it is also top quality.
